To be considered for Career Placement at Meak Productions, you must meet the following criteria:

Your Sexual Orientation MUST be Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, SGL (Same Gender Loving) or SSA (Same Sex Attractive) orientation to be considered.
All applicants must have either at least a two-year to four-year degree from an accredited university or business/technical collage, or 1 or more years of job experience in the desired field/position applied for.
All applicants must at least be 18 years of age or over.
All applicants must be computer literate and proficient with mainstream Information Technology (such as Microsoft Office, WordPerfect Office Suite, Internet Explorer or Netscape 7, operating systems such as Windows, Mac, Novell, etc.)
Ideal candidates must have exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, work well with people, and are sensitive to the needs and issues of the clients and the GLBT community.
Successful applicants must have an informed commitment to the overall vision of the Corporation and their desired position/department with previous experience in the field (paid or unpaid).
All applicants applying for Marketing, ER (Executive Representatives) or Promotions positions must have 2 or more of the following as well as all of the above: a reliable phone, reliable transportation, and access to a computer.

To be considered for Internship at Meak Productions, all of the above apply with the exception of the following:

All applicants must be at least a High School Junior or have their High School Diploma or GED or higher.
All applicants must have at least a 2.5 - 3.0 Grade Point Average or higher (There may be some exceptions to this requirement pending on interviewing process with the intern applicant).
All Interns coming from Affordable Housing or Housing Choice (Section 8) Communities or Programs can be either in a Training Program or a Graduate.
All intern applicants MUST be willing to lead and showcase PROFESSIONALISM and represent the full vision of the Corporation and / or their desired division or department.

After your application is received and viewed by Human Resources, you will be contacted by phone or e-mail to schedule an interview. If you’re applying from out-of-town or another state, you will be contacted for a phone interview or an online interview (For online interviews, applicants must have a reliable web cam, a pic available, and/or 1 of the following Messenger systems; Yahoo Messenger or MSN Messenger).
